IHEA Statement on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
The International Health Economics Association is committed to taking concrete actions to promote social justice, diversity, and inclusion within our association and across the broader community of health economists. We strive to ensure that all interested members can participate fully in our activities, regardless of their national origin, race, ethnicity, culture, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, physical and/or cognitive capabilities, socio-economic status or other characteristic.
We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where diverse voices and perspectives are welcomed and heard, all are treated with respect and fairness, and hostile behavior is not tolerated. Therefore, we actively seek to have a broad diversity of voices at our congresses and other events, and are committed to seeking diversity across all our association’s structures and roles.
